New Challange

With lots of work piled up, the Raya week doesn't seemed to be as enjoyable as it used to be. One of the work is due to the fencing club. For the fencing club magazine, I was chosen to be the AJK for graphic designer. Its not bad. And I also get the same type of work for the Fencing Open Competition. Being a AJK for the Publicity Department, one of the jobs that we have to do is to design and finalize the poster, banner, flyer, logo, slogan, and booklet. It seems that my workload in the fencing club focuses on graphics. Not that I would want to complain about it. The higher ups took my request for not giving me a high post which is head of somethings, which i'm truely grateful. I'm kinda lazy to do the decisions and just doing my own part is fine.

Still addicted on Diablo. Homework still in check. Nothing major to write. =.="

Diablo Fever

For no apparent reason, suddenly everyone is crazy bout Diablo 2 : LOD. Almost half of the member of the house is playing Diablo. And a couple of friends came and lend the DVD to install it. Dunno why, but 3 of my friends are playing the Paladin character. It seems so popular. And to my astonishment, my neighbour, who is also my classmate has a lvl 94 sorceress character. OMG!! And another lvl 80 and 64 different character. WOW, he must have really spend a lot a lot of time in it.

I would predict that this Diablo fever will only last during the Raya holidays. The only time that we get to relax before another 'rows of hellish weeks' Thinking bout the workload after raya would make me quiver. Tomolo going to Lintas to eat 'sen rou mien' which is translated as pork mee. This is recommanded my 2 friends who are locals here, and they are taking us there. We asked them bout the good food found here and they took us around.

Ate a very good ngau chap mee a few weeks back. The price is a bit high but its worth every penny you pay for it. Would like to go there and eat again before going back to Selangor. And last week we went to eat char sau fan. Which is not bad. Hopping that the meal tomorrow will be fabulous. OK. Need to stop writing bout this. My stomach is already growling due to the image of the food.

Makes u feel really smart after nailing this puzzle

One of my uni friends emailed this to me. Too me less than 3 minutes to solve this. I think this puzzle is kinda fun. After solving the 6th number, its the password to an excel file which those who can solve it will be able to enter his/her name into it.

Find the 6th Number.

1 , 2 , 6 , 42 , 1806 , ????

The 6th number is the password to open the attached file.

If you can.... add your Name in the attached file & send it to someone else.

I've already entered mine and mailed to others. See if you can solve this puzzle and leave it in the comment. Or leave your mail so i can mail to you the excel file.
Try your luck. Ganbate.

Reasons & Excuses

Ok, lets have a short quiz. What is the big difference between reasons and excuses?

The answer is easy. Lets have actor A & B.

When A had done something and B is not satisfied, for A, the word he says will be reasons while in B's ears it'll be excuses. However, if B had done the same thing and said the same words, B will insists that what he's saying is reason. Same words but from different mouth. This is the best way for describing the difference of reasons and excuses.

Well the aftermath of this incident is..... A would have eaten a dead cat. And having eaten so many dead cats in my life, the taste is repulsing. It ain't sweet, and it never will. The bitter taste of it was so horrible.

Rather than giving out reasons for my actions, in which will be heard as "excuses", I chose to remain silent. Fine, since they wanted to be the good guys which NEVER made any mistake and only those around them will, I let them be. I don't want to start any arguement nor fight. I'll take the blame and eat the fcuking dead cat. But I myself know better that I didn't do anything which would make my Conscience feel guilty. Even if one say, lets hear him out. But in the end there is no difference. If its already in the mind that they want me to take the blame, then no words could change thier mind. If my persuasive power was so great, I would've taken a course as a lawyer, not an enginneer. I solve problems, not talk out of it.

Although it stinks, I've grown used to eating these 'dead cats' and i know its not a very good habit to adapt. Just hope that my balloon wouldn't burst in these 3 years and the condition around me would remain peaceful.

And the Oscar Awards goes to......

Straight forward. This kind of stuff doesn't happen often and this is not definitely the kind of hobby that we have in mind. All this is for our group project for the subject Peranakan Tionghua. Mind you, this mini play carries 30% of our overall marks. Therefore is more like a must to make this as successful as possible. As our lecturer told us in the beginning of the class, that most of the students only manage to get B+ and rarely got A.

Giving it our best, we're doing a play from a sketch called Laki Tua Bini Muda. With a bit of minor adjustments here and there, and a little bit of practice and we're good to go. We've been practicing almost everynight since Sunday. Since all our dialogues are recorded into the computer, our timing must be perfect.

Try guessing my role. Oh, the cardboard on my right, its actually a car and the things on my eyes are my new glasses.

The whole crew on stage. Except, for the camera man. Since all the members are guys, its obvious that someone had to take the bullet and transform into *ehem* for 10 minutes for the play. I salute them for their sacrifices. From the picture above its really easy to see who sacrifices themselves for the sake of the group.

A little accident when we wanted to patch up the car. The white stuff is glue. Don't let your mind stray away. I repeat again, its glue.

A certain amount of laughter was assured in the practice. With the bloopers and such. Recording the voices also has its funny moments. Looking forward to end this project on this saturday. Oh, we'll be putting on make ups and dresses and suits. Its very tempting to video the whole play on this saturday and put it in my blog. However, after thinking twice, this also contains other people's *new appearance* and stuff. Gotta respect their privacy.

Time to grow up.

Last year I could probably said that I'm not interested in the political stuff happening here in Malaysia. However, I was very much mistaken if I were to said that same phrase today. Politics can be so dirty and I can proudly said what I've been saying in years. I hate politics. Seeing what "Ahmad" did, and also his supporters, I was left speechless. There's a limit for ones action. When we we're small we were taught that if one has done something wrong, he'll be punished. Teachers would punish the bad students and school and parents would lecturer their children for the wrong doings. But, I guess that doesn't apply to politicians.

Oh and another thing. If anyone would like to apply for JPA scholarship and study abroad, I would strongly advice them not to do also although i would say the opposite thing a year ago. The BTN which was a total fiasco. What do we learn in secondary school? Perpaduan antara kaum adalah penting. And guess what? They were teaching the exact opposite in BTN. Non-malay students are told to be grateful that we're given citizenship and a place to stay at "their tanah". While malay students are told not to be close to non-malay students. Many complains were lodged and I personally am hoping that some sort of action would take place to cure this.

From what I understand, since the reign of Tun Mahathir there were something called Wawasan 2020 for malaysians. However the BTN is clearly treating Wawasan 2020 as nothing. As a citizen of Malaysia I was terribly dissapointed with the current level of management both in the academic world(BTN) and in the politics.

Whats yours is mine, And whats mine is MINE!!

Since everyone is fixated on the political tsunami, another issue which was hot a while ago was set aside. How long has it been since the price of petrol went sky high? As far as I can remember, its only a short moment when after the wo price of petrol went up and ZAP. Its RM2.70 per liter. Now that the world price of petrol is falling rapidly, the price of our petrol here???? Only a minus 15 cent and its centuries ago. By right the price should be going down. And we citizens got a "lovely" reason. We're waiting for the price of petrol to stabilize.

Oh, to raise the price there's no 'wait for it to stabilize'. However when its time to reduce the price, one excuse after another pops up. Great. Just Great.

In Very Very Hot Waters

Phew!! Finally the 2 hellish week is over. However, dark clouds of regrets and khek sim surrounds me. Our math tutor discussed the mid term paper with us, and.......... damn it. The questions looks like kacang puteh. We got our tutorial homework today, and which we should've gotten it 2 weeks ago, and guess what, 2 of the questions that came out in our mid term is in the tutorial questions. AArrrggghhhhh!!!!!!!! If those questions are in my hand, I wouldn't have lost 20 marks in the mid term just like that. Eventhough its not confirmed that I'll score the 20 marks, at least I'll know how to do a part of it rather than knocking the walls blindly. Its really a twist of fate. Sigh, no mood to do those questions now.

The very same feeling of lost and wasted also applied to my other subjects. I'll admit that one of the subjects that I did badly was my own mistake. But I'll swear that if the same type of question came out in the finals, I'll never get that part wrong.

On a happier note, my Fluids was rather OK. Did myself justice on the paper. When I sat in the room, I sat between 2 people who i had confident will do well in the test and I could compare my answer with. (Although its wrong in exams. Oh what the heck) That part seems good until, our lecturer Dr. Willie said, "Come, you sit in front". No words could describe me as I obediently follow is orders and sat in front of the class. In which the front was arranged like a spear head. I was isolated from my fortress. Its both a good thing and a bad thing, but overall I'm satisfied with my performance but still need to wait for the results before can be completely assured.

Had put much much more effort in my studies. My time for anime has drop significantly. Damn it. Been really busy and hectic with studies. For someone who has a lazy bone this is really hard. But taking a positive side, at least it made me more hardworking.
